This is a great tool for cleaning boots, or other footwear, of any description and works very well at removing everything from sand, dust, mud or larger debris caught in the sole cleats. At it's heart it's a simple concept with a water reservoir allowing water to pass through to a brush head for cleaning.The supplied cleaning fluid is a nice addition and really does help achieve a lovely clean boot, not just on the sole but also around the rand or the uppers. It's easy to fill and operate with a simple twist shutting off the water supply whilst cleaning.I particularly like the prongs on the reservoir lid which are perfect for levering out small stones lodged in between the cleats of the sole. It's small size is a good fit in the hand but holds enough water to give even the muddiest of boots a thorough clean. It's size also makes it ideal to throw into the boot of the car ready for use when returning from a walk.It's ease of use means it's not a chore to do this instantly on returning rather than waiting till you get home and allowing mud etc. to consolidate it's hold and possibly effect the boot stitching. Great for any type of footwear, not just walking boots and I really wish I'd had this available when I was playing rugby.Thoroughly recommended.

I bought this for my 9 year old son who regularly gets in the car, or comes home with muddy football boots after playing matches and never cleans them. He normally just leaves them in his bag until all the mud has dried hard! After his most recent match he used this and it works really well, it’s a bit difficult for a 9 year old to apply consistent pressure to clean the boots, but as an adult I found it easy and helped him. It works best on soft mud, so important to use as soon as possible before all the mud dries hard. He now has clean boots ready for the next match. I would agree with the comments about the boot buddy not holding enough water, but this is easily solved by carrying a water bottle in the car to refill quickly. The tool on the other end of the boot buddy is really good at removing mud from between the studs. Sometimes we clean the boots at home where we have quick access to the outside tap, but by refilling and using the boot buddy we no longer get cold wet hands and feet! Overall I think this is a good product, probably a bit over priced, but it’s effective and it works; so I would recommend it. One happy dad at least!

I'm really impressed with this kit. I'll be honest, I bought it as a gimmick, thinking it can't be worse than the scrubbing brush I currently use. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and how well it works. Also very economical on water - I filled it up and managed to clean two very muddy pairs with just the one fill. Will be buying more for hiking friends. Haven't used it in car yet, but think it will work well for an on site clean post hike. LOVE!

It is well made and does clean up muddy footwear. It's a good product but expensive for what it is. Wet mud flicks everywhere when brushing and water runs out quickly but it does work.

Perfect to keep in the boot and quickly clean of boots after game, don’t let the video fool you into thinking the boots will be spotless but they definetly help with an initial clean making a deep clean much easier at home
