Orlimar Trimetal ZX Stainless Maraging Face 3 Wood

I am an extremely amateur player, but I have played since I was a kid. That was a long time ago. This is the best 3-wood I have ever owned. I have a horrible slice, and instead of taking lessons (sorry to all you 4 day a week players out there...you know, the ones who always say on these forums "Just go take lessons, instead of resorting to gimmicks"), I find that this club really does work in helping keep my slice under control. Instead of it boomeranging to the right, it either goes straight as an arrow, or just slightly right. I use it in place of my driver. I lose some distance, but at least it goes straight. Next, I will be trying Orlimar's driver. Hey, the price is certainly right.To all of you who scoff at the thought of resorting to "gimmicks"...not all of us who golf can do so 4 or more times a week, and we're not all retired and/or rich. If I could golf that often, I'm sure I'd be a much better golfer, just like you. I have to work 55+ hours per week..so, not much time for other activities.

I ordered this club because of the draw weighted head and maraging face. I had a terrible slice. I was completely amazed at the difference this club made in my golf game. It actually worked to help correct my slice after a few swings. Tee the ball up low as this club has a narrow face. Just make sure you follow through completely and it will go straight and surprisingly long down the middle. It is also easy to use as a fairway club. It is a fairly heavy club. You can feel the weight. I really enjoy the game now. I got the guys in my group scared now with their big ole drivers. I am keeping up and sometimes out driving them now. My slicing driver stays in the bag. This is definitely a keeper club.

Ordering and shipping process a breeze. Got to test the 3W 15 degree the other day and am happy to report a solid club. Note this club is "draw biased" with additional offset. I don't particularly have a problem with "working" the ball but having these 2 features, I don't have to try too hard off the tee. I haven't tried the club on the course but look forward to using this club and maybe adding some yardage to my game. Thanks!

The club was a gift for my husband, and he really likes it. We live in Florida so he has been able to use it multiple times. He said it is a top quality club, and he is able to hit the ball long and straight. It has improved his golf score, and he is really happy that I purchased it for him. I feel lucky that I found it available on Amazon at such a bargain price.

Played with the club on 3 occasions. Still getting used ot club, but, I am hitting the ball better and further then with old 3 wood.
