Such pretty plates! They are perfect for anything that doesn’t need a large dinner plate. The color is a deep blue. They wash well in the dishwasher, no fading. We liked them so much, we purchased the matching small bowls as well. Nice quality for the price.

I had purchased the cereal bowls prior to ordering these. We love the deep ocean blue color and the tannish/brown rim from the glaze. They are stunning. The plates were professionally wrapped and arrived in excellent condition as well.

These plates look and feel nice. (I also have similar items from the same company.) There is no lipped rim, so I suppose if you have too much sauce there may be a risk of it spilling over the edge. Since I wash dishes by hand, no lip also makes these plates slightly more difficult to hold while wiping with a sponge. Despite this, I have yet to drop a plate to test how durable it is. The plates are allowed to be used in a dishwasher, so this would not be a problem for most people. Each plate is slightly different with the coloration. My plates are blue, but the glazing process has inconsistencies that prohibit uniformity. For me, those slight variations are attractive. These are ceramic plates, but weigh close to some stoneware I have, which I wasn't expecting.

I bought the bowls 2 yrs ago and they didn't heat up in the microwave. The look is either your taste or not. I like them. So anyway I thought the plates. Imagine how happy I am.

For three years, these dishes were just fine, but I started seeing a fine black dust forming on the bottom, plus the inside of the bowls. None of my other plates (china) or cups (ceramic) have this issue. I am concerned about toxicity, so I am throwing them out.

These are really nice looking plates. Love the color. I eat with my plate in my lap while watching tv. If you are like me you lift the plate towards your mouth so you don't drop food everywhere. These are a bit too heavy to do that comfortably. If you eat at the table, not a problem. The packaging is top notch. They come with styrofoam dividers between each plate, styrofoam wrapped around the stack of plates and 2 more pieces of styrofoam to fill in the gaps after they are wrapped.

These plates are gorgeous! We remodeled our kitchen and wanted nice, everyday dinnerware. After much looking, we decided on these and are so happy that we did. The color is beautiful and they are very durable. They do not show knife scrapes or scratches. The are contoured to where the plates hold liquid well. And customer service is great. (We had an issue and it was immediately resolved.) We have also purchased other matching pieces to this set and are happy with ALL of it!

I ordered the LE TAUCI Salad Plates 8.5 Inch, Ceramic Dessert Plate Set - ceylon blue. I had also bought dinner plates and bowls. My first order of the salad plates were not the same color (much darker) as the rest of the dinnerware we bought so I returned them. I reordered another set of 6 Salad plates hoping I would receive the correct color of salad plates. 5 of the plates were fine and and one was very dark and does not match the rest of the set. I would return them but at this point I don't think I would receive the correct color salad plates, so I will keep them. Very disappointing.

Exactly how I hoped! Great quality. I LOVE them!
