Best value EDC for lightweight, flipper, and opener hole!
I'm a fan of that knife brand with the holes. In fact, I also own a "Sage," plus some other knives from the usual suspects, but this little Honey Badger has become my new favorite EDC! The "Sage" didn't have a beveled opener hole, despite costing a whole lot more, but this little knife came with that. It doesn't open like it has ball bearings, but it's smooth. I can index finger flick it open, and the flipper works dependably. The recess in the handle gives good access to the opener hole, even with gloves on. I got the wharncleaver blade shape, so I can get the whole of the blade very close to the same distance from the sharpener guide. It's just a fantastic little EDC knife!

Great knife
These knives are actually badass I was surprised. I bought the large one, then the smaller one later both work flawlessly and keep an edge reasonably well. Five stars all day. Looks cool comfortable. Honey badger on the handle.

Too small without the normal finger choil
I have large size hands and the "normal" small honey badger worked for me much better than this version as it has a nice finger choil that makes up the space difference in the handle. This one's handle is just too small for me personally, so I would recommend the medium or large version of this particular one. Other than that I really like the blade shape and blue color.

Wonderful EDC knife.
I got a blue one. I love the color. The knife is as good as a honey badger is supposed to be, which is to say IMO there is no better value. I collect pocket knives and this is my favorite EDC. Its ergonomics are perfect for me, it has as good an action as any knife I own, shaving sharp, multiple deployments options. What's not to like?

Always Works
This is my third Honey Badger and other manufacturers could take a lesson from whoever builds them. They are the best fidget knives I own (over 50).They work flawlessly out of the box and everyone I show, loves them....a great knife for the money.

My new EDC knife
The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this; the feel in the hand, blade sharpness, curve of the blade, and point. I did flip the clip to the other side as it fits me better that way, both in the pocket and my hand. Flip feature is snug, but smooth. The grip is plastic, but the texture is nice to help you keep a good grip without digging into your skin.I was even surprised my dad liked it because he's very old school, only preferring his brand.

Great knives but I ordered the small and received the large?
The honey badgers are cool knives but I ordered the small wharncleaver and was sent the large model. My work has a sub 3 inch blade limit and I was wanting this mainly for in the office as a beater but since it's over 3 inches I can't carry it. Will return and reorder the small and hopefully get the small this time. Just a mix up in stock I guess? Wouldn't be a problem if I was not intending it for a office knife. Plus I wanted the nice thin geometry of the small as the stock is thinner and it comes down nice and thin behind the edge so it slices like a laser beam I'm sure. The large one has good cutting geometry but the small has laser like geometry. I have every blade shape in all sizes except the tantos from western active and the small wharncleaver so I need this one to complete the set. Overall I love them they are well put together knives and the heat tread to on the 8cr is done pretty well (better than the D2 in heat treat quality, the D2 will still have better edge retention than the 8cr but not by much because they run the D2 soft at around 58.5 on the models I've poked with my hrc tester and the 8cr has all been between 60 and 60.5 on the 3 I've tested in 8cr) and with good geometry it can perform surprisingly well. They are a little over priced considering 35 bucks for FRN and 8cr or over 50 for the FRN and D2 models for China made knives that's definitely over priced with those materials but the designs are good and the quality has been consistent with every one of them I've had and I have every blade shape of the 8cr models in all 3 sizes except for the small wharncleaver and the tanto models and have one of each of the blade shapes in the large D2 models. I have been yet to be let down by them except for a couple of them have some lock stick that's annoying but nothing to bad so it's not a problem just an annoyance.5 stars for the knives design.Minus half a star for the wrong size being sent amd the annoyance of having to return it and wait for the credit and reorder the small one again and hope I actually get the small one this time and minus half a star for them being a little over priced for 4 stars total. If you need a comfortable in hand, well built knife that is extremely slicey then the wharncleaver will make you a great knife. While the D2 models will have about 10% more edge retention (that's in testing and not enough to notice in day to day use) the 8cr is the better choice as the heat treatment is done better and it's tempered harder. Soft D2 isn't never a great performer and seriously detracts from the performance the steel is capable of so I highly suggest saving the additional cost of the D2 models and just going with the 8cr models.
