Traditional German Manufacturing
They just don’t make knives like this anymore. The other great Solingen knife maker of my youth, Kissing Crane is now manufactured in China. First off, this knife is beautiful. Mirror polished with a hand trimmed & ground genuine bone handle. The steel is of the highest quality and the knife has a fantastic “snap” upon closing, this is a knife meant to be an heirloom passing from father to son. I also own many Case knives but they’re merely for collecting value, they aren’t anything I’d want to carry. This Boker? Can do both but it’s my new EDC knife. This one will be used & cherished for the masterfully made tool it is. Want to get your son a great first knife? This is it 💯

Perfect
Arrived on time. Carefully packaged. Decently sharp for shipping. Great craftsmanship as the older knives we have. Will be buying more for family gifts.

High-end knife collector, pleasantly surprised
I collect knives. Typically, my knives cost $400-$1000 each. From limited sprint runs, to exclusive 1 offs: GECs, to rare winklers, all the way to Chris Reeves, and Olamics. I was given this knife as a gift and let me tell you I will be buying more for myself and gifts to others. D2 steel is icing on the cake.

Pleased with the purchase
I just received my boker today, out of the box im pretty pleased with this pocket knife. The shield isn't perfectly flush but the blades have zero or no noticeable side to side movement. Pulling the blades out are a little difficult with freshly trimmed nails but with a little oil that are fine. Its a beauty. The only sort negative would be the blades are much thinner than a comparable Buck 361, but different manufacturer and this is my 1st Boker so time will tell. For the price I think its a great buy.
