Beautiful, Empowering, and Inclusive Barbie
This Barbie, created in partnership with the National Down syndrome Society, is absolutely incredible. As a parent and advocate for inclusive, I was deeply moved by the care and attention to detail that was put into creating this doll. From the facial features to the orthotic foot braces and the adorable dress. Everything is thoughtfully designed to reflect and celebrate individuals with down syndrome. What really stands out about this particular barbie is the stunning necklace, as she represents beauty confidence, and the importance of representation. It has been heartwarming to seen a doll that helps children feel seen and value, while also promoting the understanding and acceptance. This is a symbol of progress and hope. The movement is of the standard Barbie. It fits the style and functionality of what it stands for. It does not have articulation.

Finally a doll Downs Syndrome kids can relate to!
This doll was purchased for my beautiful little 4 year old Niece's Birthday. She also has Downs Syndrome (DS). It brought much joy to her eyes! Finally, a doll that looked like her! I’m so greatful someone took the time to design a doll my little Niece can relate to! It has become her favorite toy! It has been holding up very well to the very active play it’s put to.

I love how far Barbie’s have come, when I was a kid we only had the standard blonde skinny Barbie. I love that this Barbie has a more “natural” shape and I love that I can give my daughter dolls that all have their own personality. To add, I don’t think her face looks much different than any other Barbie and looking at her we couldn’t tell she is supposed to have Down syndrome as the box states. She is perfect though and the same quality as any Barbie.
