There's an Alien in Your Book

Mixed feelings
Wasn't impressed by the start of this book, personally I like to encourage my child to be nice to others, so for this book to encourage them to call names and say "yuck" at the alien, didn't sit well with me. I'm aware at the end it tells us that everyone is different and we shouldn't be mean but for a little boy that doesn't know what bean mean is, this book is wrong to encourage them at the start.Otherwise we'll written and nice interactions

Not my favourite of the four
This is a bit of a tough review, so we first purchased the dragon book and after falling in love with it, we then bought the monster one. The interactions are fantastic and we love the little story. However, I just can't get into this story myself, it starts off with the book being a little bit mean to the alien and the "interactive" bits to get your child to join in with the story aren't as fun as the monster and dragon books. My 3 year old still enjoyed reading with me but it's not my favourite story sadly.

Superb!
My toddler absolutely loves these books - we have Monster, Alien, Dragon, Witch and Wolf. All are brilliantly engaging and really allow you to have some fun. Alien is mine and my Daughter's favourite. She loves telling Alien to go away and then instantly feels bad when she sees that she has made him cry - and so then gives him a kiss and a hug and pats his head to make him feel better!!!I love them all but I have to say my daughter's least favourite (and indeed mine also) is Dragon, as it relies too heavily on 'using your imagination', which although may sound like an odd comment it's a genuine issue, as getting a toddler to 'use their imagination' to solve a situation just doesn't work. The books which focus more on blowing, jiggling, turning, spinning and shouting are far better if your child is as young as mine (2 & 1/2).Overall, you can't wrong with any of them though, great interactive fun, and a real change from 'the norm'. My daughter regular asks for 'Alien' or 'Monster' or 'Witch' or just grabs one and forces me to read it ;)

Great little books
I had the chance to review one of these books and they are now mine and my 2 year old new favourites. The pictures are nice and bright and the story is the right length for her to stay interested all the way through, the storys are also interactive and get you involved with what happens until the story ends. These are great little books at a great price, im glad I had the chance to review or I may not of come across these, im collecting the whole set and can't wait for elf one to come out.
