natural shampoo!!!
i used this for the first time mixed with marshmallow root powder for a natural shampoo and it worked really great and seemingly after using it on my scalp, i don’t have this weird itchy spot that i usually have anymore. freaking try it!!! here are the instructions i followed:Ingredients:- 2 tablespoons of shikakai powder- 1 tablespoon of marshmallow root powder- 1 cup of waterInstructions:1. **Mix the Powders:** Combine the shikakai powder and marshmallow root powder in a bowl.2. **Add Water:** Gradually add the water to the powders, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.3. **Let it Sit:** Allow the mixture to sit for about 10-15 minutes so the powders can fully absorb the water.4. **Apply to Hair:** Apply the mixture to your wet hair and scalp, massaging gently.5. **Rinse Thoroughly:** Rinse your hair thoroughly with water to remove all the mixture.

Absolutely Amazing!
I used this to cleanse my natural hair and I am now in love with this natural powder. I have dry hair but after using this wonderfully sweet smelling powder, my hair was very soft and clean. This will definitely be a product that I will use consistently and I will definitely be reordering it.

Great product, wasteful packaging
I've been using Shikakai powder as a shampoo for many years and this is the best quality product I have used so far. The powder is very fine and pure (not debris or anything else mixed in). However I had decided to try this brand because of the biodegradable packaging and I was quite disappointed when I received it. The powder is indeed packaged in a biodegradable paper bag (smaller than I expected) but as if to compensate for the good deed, someone decided to pack that package into a thick, sealed plastic bag! I can understand the intention to prevent leakage, but I find it misleading to advertise an eco friendly packaging then. It would be nice to have the choice to forgo the plastic bag. I want to order more of this product but the heavy plastic packaging is really making me hesitate.

Easy to mix
It made my hair really soft and the top of my scalp itches because of whatever ailment it has and this really did temporarily help

Perfect for DIY shampoo
I've been using Shikakai in my hair via a shampoo I make and this grade seems satisfying. Haven't had any issues.
