This set has a lot of really neat details and pieces, such as repositionable decals, silverware, cupcakes, furnishings, and people. There's a lot of opportunity for creative play for children. Because the figures include a man, woman, and child, my daughter sometimes pretends that they are a family at home and arranges the furniture accordingly. Assembly does take a bit of time, but the instructions are clear, so it's not too bad for an adult or maybe an older child. I would recommend this for a child who likes baking or playing pretend coffeehouse.
