This doesn't provide enough ultraviolet. For a plant to flourish, it needs infrared, white light, and ultraviolet(UV). However, the misconception that this product offers is that it barely touches the 400 nanometers(nm) light frequency. Usually, UV, which flourishes the plants, ranges from 200-400nm, split into three parts: 400-315nm is UV-A, 315-280nm is UV-b, and 200-280nm is UV-c. For a plant to flourish, it needs all three, especially if it is a fruiting plant. A plant that fruits need UV-b for it increases flavonoids, anthocyanin... and so on.In my perspective, this plant light barely offers anything but light.

The switch on/off doesn’t work well, sometimes I need to press it 6-7 times until it switches on, timer doesn’t work, so far I don’t recommend it. The light itself is good enough for few plant on one shelf.

I bought this grow light twice with some weeks apart, as the first purchase was very good. However, the second purchase the color was not 5000k for sure, more like 1000k or even less. Both bulbs are like this.

I always wanted to have plants in my room but the problem is, I have no windows. So grow lights is the only way to have them live and this one in particular helped my plants A LOT especially my string of hearts that needs a lot of light! I got this a week ago and I have seen lots of growth in my plants and they're looking super healthy! 10/10 would recommend this!
