The zoom ring has a clicky sound which I’m pretty something is wrong with the lens. Didn’t even bother try the image quality and has initiated the return.

Excelente ótica, a qualidade de nitidez das imagens fotografadas por ela não deixa nada a desejar para as lentes Sony. Bom auto-foco, rápido na luz, não tão rápido no escuro, mas acho que tem influência da câmera também, tenho uma Sony a7iii. Boa qualidade de construção. Seria perfeita se tivesse estabilizador de imagem nela, mas não tem, e esse é um dos motivos da lente ser leve e compacta.

Shipping on this item was extremely good, it arrived much before the mentioned date. The packaging is always good from Amazon and this is no different. Even though this is an overseas import, buying from a service like Amazon gives you that confidence in case things turn bad. The lens is a great go for landscape/nature/family videography and very good on pictures as well, although my main focus is for video. The image is sharp and the auto focus works great with my a7Siii. The price was very competitive and couldn't be more happier with my purchase.

Lo uso para fotografía y video, ha sido una muy buena inversión, en cuanto a relación calidad- precio, es muy nítido, tiene un vineteado natural, pero es una muy buena opción si apenas estás iniciando.

This lens and the Tamron 50-400 are the only two lenses I bring on my landscape photography trips. They share the same filter size. I got a magnetic CPL filter and swapping it between the two lenses only takes a few seconds. I have used it on a bunch photo projects and the images are fantastic from f2.8 onward. I shoot most of my landscapes between f8 and f11. However, I had a specific project that called for all the images to have very shallow depth of filed. I used this lens at f2.8 and never questioned the quality. The lens delivered with flying colors. I do not do weddings anymore but was asked to do one a few months ago. I brought this lens and my Tamron 28-75 G2 and my 70-180 G1. The lenses performed flawlessly and I got fantastic images out of all three.
