the book started breaking apart from day one before i finish the first chapter all the pages where detached from book cover! and i like to keep my books intact and it was frustrating seeing this book in that condition! the subject and story was nice but supporting the book's condition was stressing !!!

Aún no comienzo a leerlo, pero en cuanto a producto y entrega, todo perfecto. En buen estado y bien impreso.

Very out of the box, and yet, it all makes so much sense. There's politics, philosofy, and of course, science. The pace is fast but not too much, just enough to keep you hooked, all the time. The characters are very interesting, the worldbuilding is great and coherent. I mean, just read it already.

Have read it when I was a teenager. Re-read again and just as intriguing and fresh

Les livres qui tentent de nous raconter un futur ont tendance à être fantaisiste, et vieillissent assez mal... Ce n'est pas le cas avec Asimov : le récit se concentre surtout sur le dialogue et les interactions entre les personnages. Il y a très peu de descriptions, ce qui rend l'univers créé très ouvert à l'imaginatif de chacun… et donc plus intemporel. La structure en 5 nouvelles à l'avantage de proposer de nombreux climax et de développer beaucoup d'enjeux. En contrepartie, il faut également à chaque fois faire marcher ses neurones pour se familiariser à tout un nouveau lot de personnages à chaque fois (qu'on perdra en passant à la nouvelle suivante). Finalement, ce premier tome ressemble peu à un roman. Chaque nouvelle a un excellent climax, mais il n'y a pas de progression particulière à l'échelle du livre... Quand on arrive à la fin, il semble manquer une conclusion, mais c'est également ça qui donne envie de lire les tomes suivants (pour ma part) !
