Worth reading, even if you are not new to juicing!
I have been a juicer for over 20 years and have eaten mostlyraw vegan foods for the last 8. This is my first juice detox ironically and I have to say that the book is well thought out, easy and quick to read and oh so useful. Not only are his juices well balanced, they taste great. The book supports you on all levels. I will keep this book and the juices will be part of my weekly routine. I have shyed away from fruit juices in the past but now see that I can incorporate these into delicious and nutritious juice combinations that even my kids drink with little complaint.

Wieder ein witziges, informatives Buch von Jason Vale. Die Rezepte sind sehr lecker und einfach zuzubereiten. Einziges Manko im Vergleich zum Vorgänger, "7lbs in 7days" ist, dass der Wallplanner nicht mehr inkludiert ist.(Kleiner Tip: Ich habe gleich am ersten Tag den ganzen Spinat entsaftet und eingefroren. Pro Portion im Buch gebe ich 3-4 Spinat-Eiswürfel aus dem Tiefkühlfach in den Mixer dazu.)

Makes life hard, but works!
I've done this juice diet twice. Here's my honest review!The first time I followed the diet absolutely to the letter. I was so exhausted every day I would just drag myself home from work and into bed, literally at 6pm, and sleep off and on until morning. I couldn't do any exercise as I was just exhausted. I don't normally drink caffeine so it wasn't a withdrawal from this. I didn't feel so much hungry as just emotional every time I saw actual food. I found it difficult to concentrate. I also felt very depressed, especially at the beginning. It didn't really get better through the week. My work absolutely suffered, and I had to go home early a couple of times. I couldn't do anything sociable at all. I stuck to it though, as I needed to lose the weight to fit into a bridesmaid dress. However, I usually get bloated etc with digestive issues and it was a wonderful bloat-free week! And it completely worked. At the end of the week I'd lost 6lbs (I was only 135lbs to begin with) and felt as light as a feather. I fit into the dress, and my appetite overall reduced quite a lot.It was the longest, most depressing week of my life though.I'm currently 3 days into my second round of this diet. The first day I actually had to go home from work because I was just crying at my desk - something that never happens!! I had nothing to be sad about. So I've been cheating - not with food, but for the second and third day I've had a sugar free energy drink in the morning. It's made a MASSIVE difference. I'm awake and cheerful, despite the juice! I've also had half a protein bar before and half after exercising (crossfit) so I can manage the sessions! 5lbs down already, and MUCH more managble. I'm sure Joe Wicks would NOT be pleased at my additions but they've made this diet doable!
