Perfect Quick Snack or Breakfast for My Toddlers - They've Really Improved the Taste
My 2 and 3 year old are so picky. They don't like pop-tarts (which is good because they really aren't healthy). They don't care for cereal. They will only eat yogurt or apple sauce once in a while. I worry about them getting the nutrition they need for breakfast because they are so picky. When I don't have time to make French toast or eggs these breakfast bars are a lifesaver. The girls will actually eat them and I don't have to feel guilty about giving them the bars as they are healthy and nutritious. Years ago I used to get these for my teens when they were younger. They really seemed to have improved the taste. The toddlers love them and I can't complain about the nutritional value. If you have picky eaters and you want to make sure they are getting the nutrition they need, even if they think they are getting a "special treat", this is the perfect solution. Recommend to any mother.

Now a staple in our household
I first learned about zbars from my stepmother who is a zealous organic health nut, really! I like to think we have a more down-to-earth approach, so I view many things she buys with a stoical eye. (Tho granted, she does her research very well!)But anyway these zbars, and the chocolate brownie version in particular, are wonderful. A reasonable price, great, responsible ingredients, and a rich yummy taste. My two young boys love them. We had to impose a one a day limit or they would just eat them all day, and nothing else. But even if that happened for some extreme reason, I would not feel too guilty because these are worlds apart from the standard sweet granola bars typically found in the grocery store.Good price thru amazon too, locally we actually cannot get these at all or I could drive an hour to stock up, at a higher price. We get them thru subscribe-n-save and I'd highly recommend it!

Yummy, Filling, Yay
I started giving those to my son when he turned two. A nutritionist friend of mine with two children recommended them to me, and I am very happy she did. These taste much better than the adult Clif Bars and they don't give me heartburn like the others do, so I feel alright about my son eating them. They're great for at the beach, or park, or Disneyland in between meals when it's been a busy day. Obviously they're not meal replacements but they'll put a lump in a toddler's tummy for sure so don't have this as a snack option too close to meal time.My son seems to like the chocolate chip version best, with the brownie being a close second. They're a little messy! But toddlers are messy, so just have a wipe handy. My son asks for these by name (kinda) and I find pregnant self reaching for them as well if I haven't brought myself sufficient snacks- they're great for long days out on the go.

Delicious!!!
I love these Cliff bars! A friend of mine had gotten them for her child and offered me one to try and I absolutely loved it! So I bought one 18 pack and my daughter and absolutely loved him and went through two a day so now I’m on a monthly pants plan of four boxes LOL but they taste really good and they have lots of vitamins and good things in there for the kids and they eat them so it’s a win-win

Chocolate Brownie Wins Mightily Over Iced Oatmeal Cookie! But What's in the Box?
For the past two years we've been giving ZBAR bars to neighborhood kids who ring our doorbell on Halloween. We've been buying assortment boxes, with Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chip, and Iced Oatmeal Cookie -- then filling a large bowl and allowing the Halloweeners to select the flavor they prefer. For two years running, after we shut down for the night, any remaining bars in the bowl are Iced Oatmeal Cookie. The Chocolate Brownie bars disappear first, followed by Chocolate Chip. Generally, kids will only take the Iced Oatmeal Cookie bar if the other two are no longer available. Now, here's the problem. I recently ordered a box of Chocolate Brownie bars from Amazon. (Confession: these are for me, not for Halloween. Who doesn't like Chocolate Brownies?) A box of Iced Oatmeal Cookies was sent by mistake. Upon closer examination of the box, I discovered that a bar-code identifier for Chocolate Brownie was on the bottom of the Iced Oatmeal Cookie container. See the attached photo. No wonder Amazon sent the wrong flavor!Amazon is in the process of rectifying the mistake. I'll update my review (and add or remove a star) based on what I receive as a replacement. Will it be Chocolate Brownie -- or -- will it be the dreaded Iced Oatmeal Cookie? Can't wait to find out.By the way, later on Halloween night, when we were left with only Iced Oatmeal Cookie bars, a young Halloweener looked in the bowl, shook her head, and said, "I'll pass."UPDATE: Amazon replaced the box of Oatmeal Cookie bars with a box of Chocolate Brownie bars. Interestingly, this time, the bar-code identifier was attached to the *top* of the box, where one could see that it corresponded with the contents. As promised, I added a star to my rating.
