Pet Fusion Reversible Curved Scratcher, Brown, 1 pcs

When this arrived, it was a bit smaller than I was expecting from the photos (note to self: start checking the SIZE of stuff before buying!!!)However in this case I'm glad I got it. My cat is a HUGE (not fat) Tom, and really this is a bit too small for him. Nevertheless, he loves it, and can usually be found draped across it and apparently very comfortable.Even better, it's the ONLY 'scratch thing' I've ever purchased that my cat actually scratches (usually they sit in the room like ornaments while he scratches stuff he really shouldn't)So, all in all, smaller than expected, but brilliant nevertheless, and when he eventually destroys this one, I'll be back to buy another. That may not be for a while, though, as it's proving more durable than I'd expected.UPDATE: It's now nearly a year since I bought this, and despite my cat scratching happily at it every single day (and ripping bits off it) the amount of wear so far is totally insignificant. If he'd worn this out by now, I would definitely be buying another, because it's great. But it looks like this one has YEARS of wear left in it. HIGHLY recommended.)

I was very sceptical when my wife purchased this!One of our moggies was causing havoc to the stairs carpet and the other cat had just about wrecked the old scratching post. So the wife did a little research and came up with this thing!I roared with laughter when we took delivery, thinking anyone could make one of these with a few old cardboard boxes! But I now eat my words!Both cats took it it straight away! Amazing! No more carpet wrecking, well, until they get board with it...It's now been used for a number of months and it's standing up well.We've now purchased another one for the living room. They don't tend to attack this one, they just lounge about on it.One note though. They came with a very small pouch of catnip. This lasted just a few moments. We buy industrial strength stuff, that's probably been band under the Geneva Convention, and that lasts a lot longer.So there you go, they work!

My cat prefers to sit on hard surfaces rather than cat beds, and these cardboard scratchers allow the air to flow through which helps to cool her furriness in the hot weather! This is her new favourite spot to lay, to eat treats, to sleep - I have it the other way up to the picture here, there is still a gap at the bottom to allow air flow, and the sides give her a little ledge to lean her face against

I've lost count of the things I've bought for my cat that he's walked away from with utter disdain.However, as I type, my little Hellboy is fast asleep and snoring on this cat scratcher. He loves it: in fact, as he walks towards this cat scratcher, he even gives out a little delighted purr before attacking it, then falling asleep.I did also drench it in catnip as the instructions suggest, so he may now be a bit stoned, too, but, regardless, he's a very happy boy! I definitely recommend this.

New kitten scratching everything in sight. Bought this in hopeful anticipation of taking his mind off furniture. As I was opening it he was in the box and when I put it on the floor he was straight on it, stretching and scratching like a loon. Result!!😋 He regularly scratches it and also has taken to sleeping on it. Definitely a win for me and a paws UP from the kitten. 👍
