I’m about to be 45yrs old and my cycle has been out of control for the last 4-5 years, extremely heavy and uncomfortable and my typical 28 day cycle is no longer the norm. I decided to get bloodwork done to check my hormones, as expected they are inconsistent as this is what perimenopause does to our hormones. So, down the rabbit hole I went, I started taking this Vitex, also got wild yam cream (to use on day 7 and on) and I also started intermittent fasting. I’ve immersed myself in books and podcasts (Fast like a Girl, Obesity Code etc) podcasts Dr Tabatha OBgyn and I can absolutely say that these changes have been incredibly positive. I just had my period after 27 days, it was 3 days of regular flow just like I’ve had pre-peri. I’ve lost 10lbs and I feel incredible. I’m now fasting 18-22 hours on average and 44-48 hours 1-2x a week, I give myself grace on weekends but don’t go crazy. I won't lie, I was going to wait at least a couple of months to review, but I have to brag about how effective these are! For background, I wasn't getting a period for consistently for almost a year.
