EDIT: I was disappointed with this produce at first but the more she worked with it, the easier it got. She just needed to get the hang of it. Changing my review from ⭐⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.My daughter is currently using it for the first time abs it's not working out well. The (fettuccini) noodles aren't separating properly and it's just generally awkward and difficult to use.

I was disappointed while using this because even though I followed directions perfectly it did not perform as the video. I used a fresh zucchini, sliced to fit. Went to turn the veg and because the gadget is shaped with a smaller diameter than the veg the blade could not dig in at the correct angle to make a sheet slice. Also, the 'forks' that were to help me rotate the veg on the gadget, acted more like an internal rotary blade, slicing the veg and making it impossible to turn. The hook that catches the blade and holds it up is plastic and felt as though it could break easy so I was very gentle with it, even opening the blade wider and placing it onto the veg for fear it would spring down too hard. [I have an apple peeler and know that in letting the blade go, it does pierce the skin, so I flipped the blade so it woukd indeed pierce the veg skin]I bought this specifically for use with squashes and, eggplants. I cannot see it being any more than a eyesore so i sent it back. Ill stick with whwt I been using.

Vasta Vegetable and Fruit Sheet slicer is great for certain fruits and vegetables. Loved the potato sheets and fries, the zucchini and summer squash were also awesome! So many things you can make with them, and very easy to use. There is a lot of leftover, but you just need to be creative and use that too. The cucumber DID NOT work. It was far too soft - even after being refrigerated. The thing that is supposed to hold it at one end did not help. The entire cucumber twisted right off of it. On the other hand, veggies like beets and sweet potato are far too hard. I didn't learn the trick of cooking it slightly first - I will try that.
