Cockatoos are well known to be great escapers. My Sugar is an example. She has been able to unlock her cage repeatedly, though I've used several different locks. I don't want one with a key as I might lose it. A combination lock presents problems as well. This lock works perfectly, though Sugar has given her talents much exercise trying to unlock this, with no success. It's simple and effective for my purpose, My only problem is I lost the smaller part, darn it. When I get another I'll attach the "pin" to the lock with a piece of safe-for-my-bird-wire. Oh, FYI, I DO allow her out every day, but can't keep an eye on her while asleep and she can wreak Havok unsupervised. : )

Works great for a sail on my boat

I bought these for trailer to connect chain ratchet to. Used them for Polaris ranger and Kubota tractor and the hold good

Used these to hold horses in place on a rachet strap style high line. Works great for that, very strong, but still easy to open. I put swivels on them
