It was super zoomed in and the stand is terrible because the wire gets in the way of the stand.The quality was very bad and the microphone didn’t work.

I was in need of a cheap camera for my Twitch streams and decided upon this. For the price, I wasn't expecting much but boy was I surprised. The video quality is perfect and the ability to control the front lights intensity is also an added plus. Design wise, its aethetically pleasing and it looks great with the black and orange highlights and completely matches my setup.It clips on easily to the top of your monitor but the cable is quite a bit short, but as long as your PC is near your monitor you should be fine. The video quality, for so cheap is great and its perfect for Twitch streams and but won't be ideal if your doing Business conferences or anything like that. Its capped to 480p at 30fps which for the price is very reasonable in my opinion.Overall, I reckon this is a great little purchase if your on a budget like me. If your expecting this to perform like a £100 webcam from Logitech, your way in over your head but if your like and on a budget. Buy this. It hasn't let me down yet and noone has ever complained about the video quality to me.

Item arrived on time, well packaged, and in good working order.This is my first time bothering to buy a dedicated webcam, as all of my others are integrated into my laptops, but I needed one for my gaming PC. As advertised it is plug and play, at least with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It was recognized automatically by both Skype and Google Hangouts which are the only video services I use.The form factor is like that of a high end Logitech, but sold for a fraction of the cost. To be honest I got it over others in the same price range simply due to it's color scheme which matches my gaming rig. The LEDs on the front can be dimmed with a roller switch in the cable. A neat feature but awkward to get to around a large monitor. My monitor gives off enough light that I just have them turned off. Another thing I have turned off is the built-in microphone. I use a Blue Snowflake for my main mic which is one of the best on the market so I had no need for the tiny condenser built into this one. As such I cannot speak to it's quality.The video quality it produces is hi-def. I would guess 720p provided your internet connection can support it. The frame rate is good and everyone I have video chatted with had no complaints. My only complaint, which I knew going into it based on other users comments, was the small viewing area. It is perfect for capturing your shoulders and head / face but that is about it. It does not get much else in the frame. This was perfect for my needs but may be problematic for others. Essentially, don't expect to capture a warehouse sized room on this webcam with any clarity.In summation, do not expect $2000 DSLR video quality from this device. Price reflects quality and this one is perfect for my needs. It is simple to use, works well, and has a price that can't be beat. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive decent quality dedicated webcam.
