Orion Children's Books The Lives of Saints: As seen in the Netflix original series, Shadow and Bone

Easily the best part of this book was the illustrations. They were beautiful and there were loads of them and I loved that.Aside from that, this was a quick and easy read providing some background into the wider Grishaverse and it was fun to read and recognise some of the Saints and their stories. There was nothing particularly special about any of the stories - most of them were only 3 or 4 pages so there wasn't much depth - but I am glad I read this as a fan of the world they come from.

Conta as histórias de santos diferentes da religião de Ravka, Kerch e outras pessoas pelo mundo Grisha, e elas são como eu esperava: inteligentes, mágicas e nem sempre com finais felizes! Como eu já conhecia a história da Alina e do Darkling, gostei de ver lendas sobre os dois que não faziam parte da trilogia Sombra e Osso.A edição é simplesmente maravilhosa, as ilustrações são incríveis e este é de longe o livro mais bonito da minha estante! Definitivamente um volume para colecionadores e apaixonados pelo universo Grisha (como eu!).

I'm a big fan of the Grishaverse books and this is not part of the series, rather a "facsimile" of a fictional book that Alina Starkov is given in the first novel. It has nothing to do with real world saints, but is rather an exploration of the theology that Leigh Bardugo created for her universe. As such, there is very little in this for newcomers to The Grishaverse, but if, like me, you are already a fan and want to read the stories that are supposed to be familiar to your favourite characters, it's a good addition to your Grishaverse collection. Each tale is concise and beautifully illustrated.

This was a cute addition to the grishaverse books. Read this book with the audiobook (having Ben Barnes read to you is the best thing ever). I honestly just bought this because I wanted my grishaverse collection complete haha. It was cute, the book and it's illustrations are absolutely gorgeous!! It's not really necessary to understand the books but it does add a little to the King of Scars (mostly Rule of Wolves) duology! :)

Came really late at night which wasn’t ideal for next day delivery. But after falling in love with the Grishaverse world, it was only right I bought this beautiful illustrated book! The quality is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to read about the Saints that are mentioned in both Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows
