Horrid Henry Reads a Book (Early Reader)

Bought for a 6 year old grandson, think he's going to really like the fun pictures & a story he can read for himself

My 6 year old son loves these Horrid Henry Books. My son is a big lover of books and is ahead of his peers in reading. I purchased some of these books as they're chapter books but with short chapters, big words and pictures. It has the feel of a older childs chapter book in size and is a good introduction to longer stories. Each chapter is a few pages long and each page has an illustration on it relating to the story. Each page has a few lines of words - which is roughly a couple of sentences per page. My son had a few horrid henry storybooks as a child - I like that although Horrid Henry can be such a little stink he always tends to right things, even if temporarily. His relationships with those around him are very typical of a lot of boys around the 6-8 age roughly - bickering with his brother and occasionally talking back. He has a big imagination and gets up to all sorts.In this story Horrid Henry goes on a book reading mission to win family tickets to a theme park - but the prize is not all that Henry hopes it to be.Great Value. Highly recommended

REALLY ENJOYABLE ! EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND WHILE LISTENING, ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS WHO ARE YOUNG ENGLISH LEARNERS. MY SON LOVED IT!

Santa had a secret hiding place but I understand from my Grandsons Mummy that the books are just wonderful for an early reader.
