Don't get me wrong these work as advertised but ... : These are thinner walled than other Mfr. Also, the flange is smaller. I used them and they work. Couple things to ensure hold power. Drill a close tolerance hole so close you have to use pressure (hammer) to tap insert into the hole. Then when squished with rivet tool the small spline like sides will hold in place as you screw in a bolt. Also, I gave a second torque using bolt and greased washers at least two for sliding and tightened prior to installing a hose bracket. So far inserts holding fine. If the insert is used in a situation where the bolt is routinely removed and reinstalled I would purchase heavier threaded rivets from Tacoma screw or similar. IMHO.

Modifying a "newer" truck bed for my 56 Ford Dually and needed to mount the fenders in a double walled area that made it almost impossible to attached them and still be able to remove them for painting or other repairs. The blind rivet nuts made it doable and where very easy to install.

I bought these for mounting led lights and never knew I would find so many uses when custom building 4x4 and work trucks

These work fine. But the mandrel that you use to put them in was a waste.
