Works better than I thought
Used this on a brick house outside where the box was set behind the brick, preventing the weatherproof cover from sealing. This adapter did the trick. Had enough room to accommodate the GFCI receptacle, which I was initially concerned about. Very happy with how this worked.

Product is well made but be aware it is a BOX extender (same overall dimensions as the Box ), not a wall PLATE extender. It is for receptacle boxes that don't reach the surface of the wall. I wanted to extend the depth of the wall box to add a deep dimmer switch and this did not work. I ended up using a Leviton brand wall plate extender, single gang. Also, i wish they combined shipping since my two small plates that I purchased costs $6.49 in shipping fees.
