Saucy Susan Peach Apricot Sauce, 9.5 Ounce

I had been using Saucy Susan for years, but when I moved to the midwest, I couldn't find it anywhere. It was tangy/sweet and flavorful, with big chunks of fruit, and absolutely delicious in - believe it or not - this meatloaf I used to make. Then I thought of looking on Amazon. And there it was! However, when the product arrived, it didn't really look like the Saucy Susan I remember. The gel part was too syrupy and the fruit pieces seemed fewer and smaller than in the past, not like the big chunks I sometimes had to break apart with a fork. A lot of the tang seems missing too, with only sweetness remaining. I've noticed a similar trend in other products I use, like "chunky" spaghetti sauce that no longer has chunks. I believe these to be a corporate decisions: Give the consumer less product, but at the same price. Very disappointed!

many years ago my friends parents would come to california from new york and they brought their daughter and her friends saucy susan. i used it when cooking chicken or pork chops - wonderful product. i ordered 3 bottles, 2 for my friends that include the daughter of the parents who use to bring it to us from new york - now deceased for many years. highly recommend to use in cooking certain foods.

For many years I used Marie's peach glaze to moisten peach cakes, but I can no longer find it in my area or online so I thought I'd try this. I didn't expect it to be as tangy as it is, and I just don't care for the spicy element because it overpowers the peach flavor. It has a nice consistency for spreading over the peach cake, but I don't think I'll use it again.

This is the original. I grew up with it and could never be a let down. Can be used in so many ways and on so many things. Most versatile. Long standing quality company.

This stuff is great on pork or chicken. Had it all the time as a kid, but it disappeared of grocery store shelves. Not sure why. What's the deal with that? Anyway, glad I can get it here, even if it's a tad pricey.

love the product, it's hard to find. this supplier is very expensive. much better deals available. i actually thought it was a 3 pak

It seems silly to buy a grocery item like this online, but I cannot find it at my local stores. Have tried those available locally and there is no comparison. This is the best!

I grew up with this sauce and it's just as good now as when I was a kid. It's pricy but it's so tasty on chicken and other poultry and fish!
