Harold KodaCharles James: Beyond Fashion

I read this after visiting the exhibition at the Met - Charles James was a genius who brought precision and drape in one of the most innovative ways I have ever seen. I did love the book but docked a star because it didn't contain the graph construction details I was knocked out by at the exhibition. I was expecting them. If it had had these it would have been 7 stars. The photography is as beautiful as you would expect.

This is a beautiful book. Would recommend to anyone who loves fashion or would like to know more about this truly talented English designer.

Aww what a superb book!! Only recently taken any notice of Charles James. WHY?? Genius!!Lots of lovely pics, good big size too.I like to think I work in a similar way to him!!

stunning book, highly reccomend for anyone interested in fashion history or fashion design. Lots of high quality photos that allow you to really get to grip with his genius style
