Willow Lake Farms Premium 25 Star Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Two Pack 250ml Bottles

My husband is a gourmand . He's a huge fan of #25 dark balsalmic vinegar for cooking. They were selling it at a local distributor over here in NM. The texture was thick, taste was great, etc. Well, they stopped making it, so we had to find someone else.I saw the reviews, especially that stated posted that it was "thick". There's a certain viscosity that many cooks look for with this distinct vinegar. If it's too thin, it tends to "splash" all over the ingredients versus being able to use far less due to a more "light syrup" consistency.Willow Lake's balsalmic is a tad thicker than water? But not by that much.It has a great flavor, but just wasn't what we were looking for. No problem.We counted our losses, and decided to just stay quiet about it, and look for other options. Whelp, the owner asked what we thought through email, and after i let him know, i received an email he was sorry, BUT there vinegar is sold to certain restaurants, blah blah blah, and those folks love their product.okay.. thank you for sharing.So for those who are looking for something with a thicker consistency, i'm sure there's something out there. Once i find the brand and distributor, hopefully through Amazon, i'll let you know. Until then, Ciao.

I absolutely love this balsamic vinegar. I am about to place my 3rd order. The thickness is just right for me. I often use it as a salad dressing. You get 2 bottles and they come very well packaged.

This is a wonderful tasting product. It's got that molasses-like thickness that I was looking for. It tastes amazing with olive oil to dip with bread, spruce up any salsa/guacamole or even add it to your marinade. You get 2 bottles for $40. What a steal!

Not a great Balsamic Vinegar, but decent flavor. Thicker than grocery store brands (which we only purchase for marinades), but not the thick, rich Balsamic expected. Will not purchase again.

Fabulous Balsamic. Smooth with a deep, rich flavor. I wouldn't buy any other brand. I use it in a variety of ways as it is wonderful in sauces and salad dressings. Truly is our favorite!.

At this price point this is a great vinegar. It has a bit of bite that you don't find in the higher priced vinegars, but it is thick, dark and robust without being sugary or puckery (probably not a word).

I just received this and immediately took a teaspoonful and my eyes rolled back in my head. AMAZING. I am busy today looking for recipes that I can incorporate. I love this!

Delicious!! This balsamic vinegar the perfect "viscosity" and has a full-bodied, earthy feel to it. A little bit really goes a long way, although I still put more on than it needs..
