Country Brocante Style: Where English Meets French Vintage

Very disappointed in this book, I was hoping for more than a series of arty photos taken in the homes of the author's friends and colleagues but that is all that this was.

I saw this book recommended elsewhere and treated myself. Enjoyable to browse and gather ideas for home inspiration - it stimulates the imagination. I took it on holiday and came back with new ideas for this style of decoration which is one I find relaxing.

Absolutely adore this book. I am a sucker for an interiors book but once you’ve read it often there is no need to revisit. Not with this book. I literally could not put it down. Every page is beautiful and inspiring. So visually creative. Can not recommend highly enough.

This book encapsulates shabby chic, rustic, chippy paint, wild flowers, light and bright country windows and french elegance in every page. The photos are stunning and so are the homes that are featured throughout the book. If you are into nostalgic thoughts of summer days and white, bright houses with a touch of floral and french farm house then this book is for you. I absolutely love it and I am happy to say, while revamping my own home, I have had this book in my hand time and again and have had a lot of inspiration from it. Can't recommend enough.

Totally love this book. If you are into Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic style, this is even better and is written for the British market. Great stylish, affordable ideas.
