My son now has the best hands on the team with just a few months of use. For anyone serious about catching footballs, these are a must. They teach receivers not only to catch with your hands, but actually with your fingers and improve finger and hand strength. The best part is that is works automatically... no special instruction needed. It is very simple and foolproof... if you use them regularly, you WILL learn how to properly catch the ball. It is difficult to catch with them in the beginning and it is supposed to be. Stick with it, you'll get used to it, but most importantly, you don't have to catch every ball thrown to you with these on in order for you to develop the proper catching technique. It's the repetition and effort that makes the difference. Soft tosses to begin with then harder as the skill level improves. My son started when he was 12, so don't worry about size - one size works for all.
