Engaging and narrative style of story telling
I finished the first book of this series and started the 2nd and I just loved it , author has written in a way that would keep you engaged throughout, if your are straight away starting from this book so you would not understand and relate much , hence to all 1st time reader of this series kindly, first read the 1st part immortals of meluha and then follow it , I bet you would enjoy it , the only concern as a student I have , is that this book is bit expensive but I save my entire pocket money for it.

Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times
When rulers compete for power, they always look for someone to blame. In Amish Tripathi's brilliant trilogy we heard in book one about the evil of the Nagas. But now that Shiva the Neelkanth understands his mission to find and destroy evil, is it all that straightforward. The lessons we learn along the way about prejudice, judgement, and the scapegoating of those that do not fit in is as relevant today as it was in the ancient times that Amish sets his books. Another tour de force, and a book I could not put down.

Good Sequel!!
Liked this one as well!! It starts from where the narrative ends in "Immortals of Meluha". The way he has included the character "Parshuram" is really interesting. In a sequel, it is always challenging to maintain the intensity, especially if the first part was very successful. Amish manages the continuity very effectively, and is able to retain the intensity at the same level, as a result this book is equally good.
