| Warranty Description | To Buyer, as original purchaser of the Goods, STARKE WATER warrants its products free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Parts which fail or become defective during the warranty period, except as a result of freezing, negligence, improper installation, use or care, shall be repaired or replaced, at our option, within 90 days of the receipt of the defective product, barring unforeseen delays. To obtain warranty, replacements or repair, defective components or parts should be returned, to the place of purchase, or the nearest authorized STARKE WATER service center. No returns may be made directly to the factory without the express written authorization of STARKE WATER. Pump housing/strainers which become defective during the warranty period, except as a result of freezing, negligence, improper installation, use or care, or as the result of a use in association with an automatic valving system, shall be repaired or replaced, at STARKE WATER's option, without charge. All other conditions and terms of the standard warranty apply. STARKE WATER shall not be responsible for cartage, removal and/or reinstallation labor or any other such costs incurred in obtaining warranty replacements. Starke Pro Series 1.5 HP Pump
We Went With This Pool Pump For The Price As A Replacement For A 4-Year-Old 1 HP Inground Pool Pump. It Is Doing A Great Job In Our Pool Producing More Power To Move The Water And It Operates A Lot Quieter Than The Old Pump.

Never worked. Still doesn't.
Sad times for this pool pump. I bought it late last summer but was never able to get it to work, even right out of the box, brand new. Being fairly new at this, I thought maybe I had done something incorrectly. It was close enough to the end of the season that I just shut the pool down and decided to start fresh this year. Took it to my local pool store today. Low and behold, the motor was totally jammed up all along. It's a moderately janky setup from what it looks like and I don't think I can even repair the motor for what I bought this for. Now I've waited to long to return a pool pump that never worked, never ran and I was never able to use. So I just lost $200 bucks and still have to find another pool pump. Guess which brand I won't be buying? Starke. Going with a name brand this time. Hard lesson learned. Ugh. I really wanted this to work and feel pretty bummed it was a defect right out of the box.

Wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. Doesn't seem to move the pool water as well as the 1 up model that I replaced. I did like the ability to use scew on connection instead of PVC cement. Makes for easy disconnect.

Died after 5 months, I took it apart cleaned it , put it back together, runs fine now, no idea what caused the problem, the seller even offered me a refund, highly recommended seller

***UPDATED*** If you want a pump that lasts more than a year, don't get this one!!!
Best pool pump we've had! The one we had previously was actually sized to the lowest range you can have with our filter, now this brings it up to the higher range that our filter can handle. And it is awesome! It actually moves the water now on our 20,000 gal pool! Powerful! Quality build as well. I don't really know much about that, but hubby says it is all very quality--and he doesn't just throw those terms around lightly! :)***UPDATE*** Do not purchase this pump. It worked great for about a year, then we fought with it for another year as it wouldn't keep primed and we couldn't find a leak or any reason why it shouldn't stay primed. Now it finally just burned up.

Nice and cheap
I purchase this for my pool fountain and waterfall and works great. Three months by now and can't complain. This pumps do the work.
