It absorbs oil without leaving a chalky residue, and it adds volume at the roots, which is perfect for my fine hair. The best part about Amika is how it smells—absolutely delicious! The scent is light but lasts all day, which is a nice bonus. Plus, the packaging is fun and colorful, which makes using the products feel like a treat. We love the Amika smoothing shampoo and conditioner. We purchased the large size of the conditioner because we tend to go through more of that at a faster rate, however, it did not come with a pump. I purchased a standard pump from Amazon and the cap does not fit because the Amika bottle is a unique size. Please provide pumps with these large sizes. I have resorted to using a funnel and a spatula to push the conditioner into our smaller bottle which is not ideal at all!

I have wavy/loose curly hair that can get frizzy with all the dry air inside and during peak humidity outside - this doesn’t weigh my hair down at all and the shampoo along with this - feels clean. I can get such a good lather with a half dollar amount and my hair goes to my mid back and is thick. I don’t have time to treat with heat so this works along with a light gel to keep my curls shiny, glossy, and with less flyaways. The smell is so clean! My hair feels clean even when I wash it every few days.
