It's PACKED with moments that you'll have with the Lord as your perspective & understanding of Him, who you are in Him & what He desires of you grows according to TRUTH.Many times our perceptions of the Heavenly Father are based on feeling, past experience with Christians or culture. Come to a book that will feed you the Truth of Scripture, the Truth of Jesus that will RADICALLY change your heart, darling.This book has been doing SOOOO much for my heart. For my intimacy & affection with God. He & I have been having so many beautiful moments together as He leads me by His Spirit through the various sections, revelations & convictions.I bought this for my best friend who just lost her father & is seeking more depth with her Heavenly Father. I recommended it to my cousin who greatly feared the Lord for several seasons of her life. Pastor Mike Bickle has been blessed by God to carry an extremely necessary & invaluable ministry with the revelation of the Bridal Identity of the Church & Jesus' Bridegroom Identity through the opening up of the Songs of Solomon (or 'Song of Songs').This book, if walked through with the Holy Spirit, will bring so much healing to your heart, food for your spirit, & luxury to your soul. Revelation like this is definitely luxury, so come soak it up.Love you! Jesus loves you so much more though. Good book that touches on Mike Bickle's journey with the Lord while emphasizing on the love and beauty for Jesus. Liked this book and is a great book for beginning Christians or those who want to learn about seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord. I would however recommend you check out another book by Mike Bickle call "After God's own Heart". It was far better in my mind and really helped me grasp the Lord's love and passion for me and was probably one of my favorite and most influential books of all time. Both books are good but I felt Passion for Jesus lacked more of explaining the Lord's heart for me while "After God's own Heart" really touched me. Check them out and see whats your favorite!

Love it!

I have already purchased 3 books for my family and friends. It has increased and sparked a desire in my soul ever sense i read it. It moves you to devour the Bible and Love God with all your mind strength and soul. I went to the conference and it was an event i will always remember and always see the effects of it on my understanding and relationship with God.It is a must read in my opinion!This book was a blessing to my life!

This book is such an encouragment. I am so touched by Mike Bickles personal encounter with God and the encouragment it has given me that I am so very Loved by God and He completely approves of me and sees the heart of all men. It gives me even more of a hunger to want to be this for others so they can find Jesus the lover of their souls.... "Men will know me by your love."You will not regret reading this book.

Mike Bickle’s passion for the Lord is contagious! But then of course it is because Jesus’s love for us is amazing! Thank you for this!

Good read

This may have been Mike Bickle's first but it just so happens I read 'Pleasures of Loving God' and 'Seven Longings of the Human Heart' prior to this. It's a fun biography of Mike's early life, and covers wrong concepts about God's character that we've picked up from organized religion. Intimacy with God, enjoying God, revelation, transformation - are other topics covered. Life-changing!

This book gives a kick start to get passionate for God but you need to do the work yourself in getting closer to God
