Me gusta mucho cómo está escrito y la lectura, aunque está en inglés, es muy llevadera. Mi primera idea era comprarlo en español pero no le encontré, tenía dudas sobre si comprarlo en inglés pero ahora estoy contenta, hay muchas palabras que designan comidas que no entiendo pero es muy fácil buscarlas en un diccionario y más allá de eso, la historia de su vida es súper interesante y está muy bien contada.

You can't help but to fall in love with Julia Child, she seemed such a nice lady who never let fame change who she was and affect her zest for lifeReading this book made me want to go to France and experience the great cuisine francaise, I wish I could have been there along with Julia. I love how she and her husband Paul had this great bond, they loved each other deeply, were friends, did everything together and cheered each other on every step of the way. The movie inspired by this book had a few exaggerations but none had big as Meryl streep's representation of Julia, Meryl Streep is way overrated.No wonder Julia was deeply loved by her legion of fans, I too am guilty of that, I loved the book and love Julia Child now.

I have loved this book since I first borrowed it from the library years ago, then e-borrow an e-book version also some years ago.Couple of days ago, had a strange urge to want to own a physical copy of this wonderful love story and ordered from Amazon.Delivery was fast! BUT the new book was not in a good shape. Can’t find a way to reach out to Amazon and thus this review.For those keen on the book, get it! It is a beautiful story of Julia Child’s gastronomy to stardom journey starting from her first trip to France and the loving relationship with Paul as he transitioned from his diplomatic career to a supporting husband to the successful wife.

Arrived in excellent condition.
