The Gruffalo Jigsaw Book

I bought this book for my son over 20 years ago. It was one of his favorite books. We would read the story and then he would do all the puzzles. He never tired of it. I’ve never been able to find it again, although I have looked several times over the years. Plus, I’ve never found another puzzle storybook of this quality. In fact I believe puzzle storybooks are scarce, at least I’ve seen very few. I had the opportunity to buy a gift for a small child of about 3 recently and decided to check for this very book on Amazon. I was very happy and surprised to have found it. I hope Amazon continues to carry it as I know I will be needing more in the future. Thank you Amazon!

Fantastic book. Six puzzles keeps my 3.5 year old entertained for much longer than any other book or single activity. We’ve taken this away on holiday with us and he will sit and do the puzzles with minimal help after the first couple of times working it out together. He then loves to read the story at bedtime.The puzzle pieces themselves are quite thin to fit into the pages of a book so you need to be careful not to bend them too much. The pieces fit very tightly on the page which sometimes requires a bit of coaxing, but does mean the pieces stay in the book well. I don’t think this detracts from the quality of the book.I wish they did more titles in this format, as they’re brilliant for table entertainment while waiting for a food in a restaurant too.

My kid loves it. Jigsaw is quite thin so bends easily whcih makes it a bit harder for the kid to fit

Le livre est très chère, meme si les dessins et l'histoire sont très bien, la qualité du livre est très mouvaise. Le puzzles est fait en carton très legers et les morceaux ne tiennent pas en place

My son is a fan of Gruffalos Child book. I didn't have the Grufallo so thought of buying this puzzle book. Must say, the quality is just amazing! It has puzzles on alternate pages along with the story, which makes it engaging for all kids. Go ahead and get it without any second thoughts!!
