This product could be the perfect modern valet box.The unboxing revealed that the corners had received damage in transit. So strike one star for the packaging. It's mass produced and the finish isn't flush all round, strike another star for finish.I added 3 watch display cushions to the top drawer. Bit of a snug fit.If I could suggest one small change to the design it would be to make it taller so that the keepsake draw underneath could be used to store sunglasses.If you can live with the above criticism you will have an Ideal store on your dresser for all those small things that get lost in a bottom drawer or strewn around the place for want of a home. The valet case is long overdue a return. This contemporary design is both form and function a nice compliment to any man's set of drawers.

I had to buy this box twice as the first one I ordered was not made well as on the front of the box you could see where two different pieces of wood were joined which ruined the look of the box in my opinion. The second one I received was better however still of poor quality. This time the front looked much better apart from a small dent, but the sides had the same problem as the first box as you could see where the wood had been joined which makes it look like it's made of scrap wood. On top of this there was damage to the sides with some dark marks as well as being able to see some glue. I tried to see if the marks would come off however they didn’t. Inside the box the lining material wasn't stuck well and you could see glue and creases in areas. This wasn’t a big deal although for the price, you would expect better manufacturing.Another thing I should point out is at the time of buying this, the images displayed showed the box as not having a logo on the front (Amazon has since updated the images since I pointed this out on return of the first box) but when I received my order (and as you can see from the my pictures) the box now has a logo. I assume this is because this is a new updated batch of boxes but personally, I would have preferred it without the logo. The colour of the box also seems lighter in reality than what is displayed on the site. The little compartment draw on the underside of the lid that’s exposed when the top is pulled out is a nice touch but can be annoying as it can pop out at the back whilst closing the top causing it to jam which then requires you to readjust the position of the small box. A wooden dowel at the back of the small compartment (like those used for the large bottom draw to stop it from completely falling out) would solve the problem.There are a few pros to this box. From a distance it does look pretty, modern, simplistic and aesthetically pleasing in my room. It also is space saving and holds quite a lot and the top can take a lot of weight (I tried placing many of my beauty lotions and bottles on the top and the lid still slid well).Overall it is a useful simplistic jewellery box (and the only reason i'm keeping it) but poorly crafted and hence my disappointment with it. I would have returned it and asked for an exchange but since this is the second box which was poorly made, I assume most of the others are as well or I was just unlucky.

You'd expect something costing almost £50 would be made to a very high standard. Though the item has a nice sleek look the finish was terrible. The draws are wobbly and clunky, when opening any of the sliding components the move is not at all smooth, as you should expect. The finish bad and wonky as you can see in the picture for the divider of the ring section and also I had to remove glue residue from the ring section.I paid for this with a gift voucher, and the style goes really nicely with my room, but had I paid for it with my own cash I would have been returning it.Honestly don't waste your money unless you really do only want it for the look.

Purchased this jewellery box as a Christmas present for my wife, however after just a few weeks it has already broken. To make matters worse Amazon won’t allow it to be returned as the return window has already been closed. This really isn’t good enough for a box that cost nearly £40.

I got this for my son and it has plenty of compartments and space for all his jewellery and small easily lost items! Good colourway. It has a lot of black metal rather than dark wood and this makes it quite rattly and clunky. That makes it feel lower quality in my opinion and harder to travel with as it is quite heavy.Otherwise a nice item.
