I bought an external DAC for my computer, producing a much better sound, and the amplification necessary to power my Planar Magnetic headphones. The DAC has RCA Phono plugs on the back to connect to an amp or stereo. I thought, why not use a Y adapter like this to connect my powered computer speakers? I can tell you, it works perfectly. My PC speakers are Altec Lansing. They're not the best you've ever heard, but they're not bad either. Now I am feeding them a little better signal than the audio built into the motherboard, which is notoriously poor. I notice a drastic difference with my headphones, but not so much with the speakers. However, by sending all audio through this DAC/Amp only, I no longer have to switch audio devices on the computer, so it does save me a step. The adapter does exactly what I thought it would and is just what I needed.

I found no issues with this adaptor cable that had a good feel and appeared of very good quality build. Provided very good sound and connected and disconnected smoothly. Would recommend highly.

No issues works good as it should. Sounds great. Wiggled wires to test integrity and holds up perfectly. I recommend this product 100% !!!
