Psychology for High School

In all honesty, this book is entirely full of relative and current up to date information. Most college students will need this book if taking on any general or introductory level psychology courses and can learn a great deal by sitting down and understanding a single chapter to its full extent. This book not only has detailed explanations on famous studies and Psychologists but also has text that is easy to understand and interpret from the readers perspective. I would absolutely recommend this book as well if considering a psychology major/minor due to how much knowledge David G. Meyers offers in a single field of study (as stated above in previouse statements).

Daughters HS had a low supply of textbooks had to find one for her to use instead of an ebook because they are learning remotely still, half in person. Glad to see there are sellers with these available resources at an affordable price and quick turn around time in delivery. Ty.

I rented this book for when guests come over. It arrived it flawless condition. Having "Psychology 11th Edition" on my coffee table allows me to appear intelligent and sophisticated without putting in a great deal of effort. I also discovered that many of my friends have Class 3 Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Tip: If any of your acquaintances have a disorder mentioned in this book, don't tell them. Unless they get on your nerves a lot and you don't want them to talk to you anymore.

I bought this used book for my college class. I was very pleased with the condition it was in. It is very clean, no torn pages, and no funny smell (I was worried it might smell funky or like cigarette smoke...you never know). I am very pleased with how well the book was cared for.

I love how this book is so up to date and modern with its content and its pictures. I am using this book for my psychology class and I'm overjoyed that the book came in a very good condition for a rental.

This book has over 700 pages. The content is well presented and divided in 16 chapters improved with colour pictures and self-tests, plus extra pages with appendix, a glossary, references, name and a subject index. This edition is written in small, light printing on poor quality, glossy paper. This international edition is for readers who don't mind affordable, paperback small printing. It looks like a coursebook to prepare for college/university and it includes these contents:- the psychological science- research- the brain- behaviour- human nature- influences- developmental issues- sensation and perception- learning, memory- thinking and language- intelligence- what motivates us- emotions- social psychology- personality- psychological disorders - DSM-5- therapyEverything is -probably intended- addressed at but nothing in depth. It keeps jumping from one concept to another as a way to cover the basics of psychological science. A LaunchPad with LearningCurve Quizzing and "How would I know?" Activities is mentioned in the Preface (XXV) with reference to a webpage were students are offered additional material (videos, activities and formative assessment) to hold them acountable for the unit.
