This is the perfect cake pan set. The nonstick works extremely well. The pans are definitely commercial grade and heavy duty. I really like how each pan has rounded handles with silicone grips. The design of the cake pans makes it much easier to handle and grab when baking. Since the set comes with 3 cake pans, I really like how I can bake almost any kind of cake. I have baked several cakes now with these pans and all of them have turned out perfect.This is an excellent cake pan set. I highly recommend these pans to everyone!

You can handle these after a brief cooling period but you still need to use potholders to remove these from the oven. And the sides are slanted. If you're making a 3 layer cake, that is terribly awkward. Why wouldn't a set of 3 cake pans assume you are making a 3 layer cake and have straight sides? Also, I found these are less non-stick than I expected.

The 3 piece Elite Bakeware NonStick Pan Set is well made. The silicone covered handles make removal from the oven easier and safer.The pans were well packaged and arrived quickly. I prepared a beautiful three layer cake for a "cake swap," and received numerous compliments. The pans cleaned up easily.

I'm very surprised this has received such rave reviews. I had been planning on making a three-tier cake or at least two layers, but aren't these more of a pie pan than cake? I had thought that a cake pan would have straight sides... I'm going to use these to try baking a sponge cake, but I have a terrible feeling like it's not going to work well. Most likely I'm going to have to cut the sides to make it straight. I'm just worried that without it standing straight on the sides the sponge cake won't bake correctly.

I have other Elite Bakeware pieces and they are good products. The only thing I found is the 9" round parchment papers at too large. It seems the 9" round pans are measured from the outside rim rather than the outside rim making the baking area not a true 9". Despite this discrepancy they are satisfactory. They were also priced less here than in my local stores. I would recommend this product to my friends.

NEED to know what the coating is...NOT listed, some are TOXIC...otherwise the handles are nice, and it works...but...NEED to KNOW!!!OK, sorry , but the cigarette industry stated that smoking was NON TOXIC for DECADES, xynflon is a solvent based ALUMINUM product...aluminum enters the brain, and is responsible for Alzheimer's disease...do NOT consider that to be NON toxic...

Its just so easy to take out of the oven with oven mitts.

I do like the pans, but for some reason was under the impression the silicone handles would not get hot. Obviously I didn't read the description well enough, so that's my fault and not worthy of deducting a star as a result. They well made and clean up easily.
