I'd never heard of glass pens until I came across a YouTube video testing one.I was immediately impressed at how spiral groves in the "nib" end could hold so much ink and produce beautiful continuous lineSo on googling, i came across this product. This is a beautiful to look at, and a joy to hold. This is a tactical instrument and beautifully balanced.And it is so satisfying to draw with! That constant line can be so useful. Also, it is fantastic for stippling- application of repeated dots of ink.I really love this. Metal nib pens will give you variations in width by pressure, but this delivers a constant width no matter what. Both are useful in different circumstances.This is a quality drawing tool, and I look forward to exploring "fixed width" lines - and it holds ink beautifully!!

I have just received the pen. It was in a really pretty and very sturdy box, in some black foam to keep it safe. The pen is even prettier than the product photos. Here is my very first attempt at writing with it; it’s shaky because I have no clue how much pressure is too much, so I was holding the pen very lightly. I have about zero experience with dip pens, or with calligraphy, or glass pens, but the price was right and I fancied something different. I’m delighted with the results so far!

My old glass pen was rather damaged, so I bought this one on offer. It’s really lovely to look at and a great pen, easy to use. Arrived very well packaged and promptly, too. For the price, a real bargain. I already have a few fountain pens for use with my various inks, but this glass pen is a worthy addition to that small collection. Recommended.

Wanted to use this as an alternative to fine liners and to try out something new, but within less than a month the very tip has broken, which I didn't mind at first because I sanded it down and it gave me a broader line, but it just keeps breaking further despite my gentle handling. Maybe I done something wrong, it is glass after all, but I did hope for it to live longer than it has.

This is a delightful dip pen that glides on the page. A pure joy to use.
