Track lock tabs break when dis-assembling them even when you are very careful. Controllers are flawed. There is a auto-reset fuse built into the controllers. (a nice thing if sized correctly)... Controllers stop working after about 90 sec of continuous use. Must wait a while for them to cool down. Makes the entire setup useless.

We got this for our 10 year old son for Christmas thinking he could race with his sister and also enjoy solo racing. Track is pretty sturdy but the cars that come with the set are cheap. The don't go very fast, dont connect with the track well enough to power them and you can only really use one car on the track at a time. The trigger is a very cheap piece and requires constant pumping to trigger the car. Overall, I would send it right on back if the box hadn't been destroyed in the christmas chaos. It is gathering dust in my basement.

The racetrack is cool, but the car quality is sub par
The racetrack is cool, but the car quality is sub par. We spent half and hour constructing this behemoth and after only 10 minutes of play, one of the cars "transmission" just stopped working completely, and by the end of the night the other one had died as well. Not cool.

good beginner track
Assembly: 5 hrs1st letter all the packages as they are in the instructions. This is a time saver. Is to get the loops turned the wrong way. Took an hour to figure out:-) . went to website, no help.Play:I gave it a three because of inferior controllers, which is as important as the cars.Power isn't calibrated enough either wide open or no power.I took the side curve and extended the straitway.Summation:Price pushes. I got for me and my wife. At $90 it's a good deal. Now we have determined to give this to our grands and buy a top of the line1/33 scale runninr bout $500. This showed us we want one that we can build on:-) .

Let down by controller quality
Just set this up for my son as his Christmas present, took some putting together but the pack had everything needed.Starting off it worked great. The cars seem sturdy enough and the track pretty solid, you can't go full throttle if you want to stay on the track so takes some practice with the controller to complete the course without spinning out... BUT after a mere 45 minutes of play one of the controllers is completely shot and only works full throttle. I opened it up and the quality of the variable resistor (speed regulator) is nothing short of trash, just a very thin wire wound round a piece of board that has broken in several places - I don't expect a replacement would last any longer (unless it's been completely redesigned) so this put me off this brand entirely, you can't possibly make it like that and expect it to last.

Terrible, don't buy
If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Don't bother, the pieces break when you take them apart and the directions are terrible. We couldn't even put it together once as the tracks did not connect after the loop for some reason.
