Fantastic and exactly what I needed
This book is well written and speaks nothing but truth.I haven’t put it down since opening it and honestly, feel emotional and seen for the first time. For any woman with ADHD diagnosed or not, read this. You will not be disappointed. The little tasks and questions throughout the book have really helped me look into a part of myself and question all the negative self talk I’ve had all my life (I’m the queen of negative talk)I’m finally seeing my worth, different isn’t bad. It’s under-valued.

Amazingly Supportive
Fantastic insights for neuro-typicals and wonderfully affirming for neuro-diverse, especially women receiving later diagnoses. No trite platitudes here!!

Lightweight pop psychology
All about empowering but nothing about coping. Great, I’ve accepted my neurodivegent brain. Now what? I’m still struggling but doing it confidently? Yay. Sadly lacking anything substantial - could be written for anyone.

lots of words but not personally helpful
I only did a quick skim of the book and decided it wasn’t for me. Lots of extra words and feel good paragraphs - not exactly ideal for someone with ADHD, struggled to even be captivated in the first 10 pages. Bought the book because it was a workbook but the journaling aspect (and most of the book) has the underlying foundation of the reader being insecure with low self esteem. Not personally helpful to me but if you’re struggling with low self worth about your ADHD then I can see this being really helpful, if you can sit through all the wordiness.
