Excellent Vision
makes my old cam image look like dinosour age. far clearer images, and it doesn't cut out as much when the lightning is dancing in the sky. it also took a hail beating i don't think my old one would have survived.

See in the Dark!
I purchased this for use in a theatre where I needed to see when the actors were ready after a blackout before bringing up the lights. Worked perfectly. I used it with YAWCam software. Because of the distance I also purchased an infrared spotlight. It all worked great!

This was recommended by Amazon when I purchased a synology NAS drive but I couldn't find a driver for USB cameras on Surveillance Station. The images look OK with the supplied software (which is obviously written by someone who speaks another language first) but the interface was pretty klunky. I purchased a few simple wireless IP cameras and they were simple to install.

Poor Imagine!
Took two weeks to get it, but that is not the reason for the low score. Purchased this cam because it was USB connectable because it was close to the outside wall by my PC which I run Blue Iris and have many other name brand, I purchase the cams for the area I want to use it in. The image is poor on the cam even in daylight, and can barely see it at night. The only reason I gave a a high score I did was it was easy to set up. The person who answered me back told me they had sold hundreds in the USA and they are in the process of building an HD model ......so what, you cant see this cam! Poor quality!
