Fit my 5HP Tecumseh Snow King engine. Runs great now.

I'm a novice when it comes to any kind of repair, let alone small engine repair. I obtained a Tecumseh HSSK50 67394S motor on a Murray snowblower in like new condition. I didn't make much of the gasoline sitting in the tank at pick up until the snowblower didn't start despite multiple attempts when there was snow on the ground. Online threads noted that carburetors are usually gummed up if sitting with stale gasoline, making me think this was the problem. The snowblower is heavy and difficult to transport, and the carburetor repair was going to cost me about $40. I found this seller and the price was reasonable, so I made the purchase. Shipment came earlier than expected, free shipping was a plus. Installation took 30-45 minutes for me (once I got the right wrench and was able to get the fuel line off without spilling stale gasoline all over the place) and was relatively straight forward with no surprises. The part fit without issue where it was supposed to go. I closed everything up, and the snowblower started on the first try. I'm very pleased with the product so far (don't know how long the part will last, haven't used the snowblower much yet) and the price.

I ordered three carburetors for hssk 50 and I got two bad ones. One kept leaking gas out the top and the other one would not work properly on the machine. I haven't tried the third one yet.

Good quality carburetor works great when I put it in. The fuel inlet is fixed so you can swivel it like my old one. So I had to really work the fuel line a little bit to get it to go on. That's the reason I knocked one star off. Anyways still a good carburetor my snowblower is running way better than it was. Still recommend for the price of 12 bucks.

It fit perfectly on my snowblower and only took about 20 minutes to install. Engine runs like the day I bought it new.

I appreciate the price, fast delivery and the quality of the product. I placed this into a Murray snow-thrower and although it didn't fix my problem, it matched the old carb perfectly. I'm still troubleshooting a persistent problem that shuts down the machine after 20 seconds.

Perfect fit for an older ariens snow thrower. 5hp tecumseh. Would purchase again!
