Attractive, comfortable, and practical addition to kitchen
After 3 1/2 years, my kitchen rug (runner) was frayed from washing and needed to be replaced. So, after reading the reviews, I decided to give this mat a try, rather than another rug. I've used the mat for 3 months and am very happy with my decision. I do miss the fuzzy softness of a rug, but this mat is very comfortable to stand on while cooking for periods of time and very easy to clean - just sweep off and/or wipe with mop or damp cloth. The seams around the edges seem to be very well made with no indication that there's any danger of them breaking open anytime soon. The mat flattened out quickly after unrolling it out of the box, and there have been no problems tripping over it (apparently that situation from earlier customer reviews has been remedied). It does tend to move slightly over time, so that you will have to keep re-aligning it to keep it in line with tile edges, but there's absolutely no danger of it slipping while walking on it. The mat is in our kitchen, in a highly-trafficked area so that we walk over it anytime we are coming or going from the car in the garage. Shoe/foot prints leave an indentation initially, but do not last long in the soft, pliable, surface of the mat. However, I do tend to find myself walking to the side of it when I am wearing particularly narrow high heels. That, and sharp knives tend to make me a bit cautious, since it cannot be repaired if torn. All in all, it just seems to be more practical and cleaner than a rug for the kitchen area since spills do not soak in and can be wiped up easily and crumbs, etc., are very obvious on the surface and do not get hidden as in rug fibers.

Poor customer response to questions
I am reviewing this mat 3 years after it was purchased. I reduced my review by one star. First, I do love these mats and have a total of 8 in my home! However, I am NOT happy with customer service. According to the lists of good qualities was the statement that it resists abrasion. Several weeks ago, I inadvertently left my up upright vacuum sitting on the corner of one mat while I was vacuuming a section with the hose. When I removed the vacuum...a few minutes later, a portion of the vinyl had been removed. I contacted the company, explaining when I purchased the mat, how many mats I have purchased, where I purchased the mat, and what happened. I did not automatically assume that this damage would be covered under 'abrasions' but felt that there was no harm in asking (just in case it was covered). After several weeks, I still have had no reply from the company. I felt the least they could do was email me with the response that, no, this type of 'abrasion' was not covered. Therefore, I warn all of you, do not assume you mat can withstand all kinds of vacuum heads. It cannot. I will be picking up all my mats before vacuuming from now on.

Imprint Cumulus9 72" Antifatigue Mat
Great antifatigue floor mat for kitch., etc. Purchased 3 of these in different sizes back in 2013. At the time, Imprint offered a 7 yr. guarantee that was better than anyone else's I had looked at. They've just ticked over 8 years of daily use and one of them has begun to curl slightly at the ends, hence our decision that we'd long since gotten our full dollars worth so we began our search with the previous choice of vendors and so never found the need to look further. Now that the company's apparently expanded the length of warranty coverage to the buyer's lifetime... I'm just a wee tad afraid to find out exactly how long that it - and therefore I - will last. I sure hope it/I won't experience a premature failure.

Awesome Mat!!
Love this thing! I got the hugest one I could and it fits just fine in my tiny kitchen. It's all about how it feels when you stand still and let your feet sink in, it has a memory foam effect -a footprint will last over a minute, stand still long enough and it will last 3 minutes from when you step off. Get one and it will be better than you imagine, then get more. I have lower back issues and I spend a lot of time in my kitchen standing, leaning, etc. I had a cheap foam mate that was supposed to serve the same purpose, but after a while I tried to clean it and the stains wouldn't scrub out, then when I hung it out to dry it cracked quite easily. This new one's a different story, feels amazing, easy to clean, thick yet very flush with ground so no tripping expected. I can only wonder what one of those crazy $200 mats feels like... I've had it for about a month and have cleaned it once. Cleaning was easy enough; it has a very water resistant surface making it easy to wipe off with anything -my only concern is what will happen if I drip oil on it or hot water, and my only regret is these things don't come with any of those gay flower patterns or sunny day scenes like on those cheap ones, those are so perfect for kitchen floors.

Super comfortable
I owned a Imprint kitchen mat since 2013 and loved it and got so many complements on how comfortable it is whenever someone walked on it. 7 years later and it's still a great mat, but I wanted a longer one, so I bought a new one last month (Oct 2020) that the same color and everything. I thought it couldn't get better, but I was wrong. They updated the mat for the better. This new one is a little firmer and I can tell it's much more supportive than my old one. It's not as shiny as the old one, either, which is a good thing. I love this mat!

Excellent cushioning but it is thick.
The mat has a wonderful cuishion under foot but because of the thickness, however, I do sometimes trip on the lip or my foot rolls.Having said that, it is way better for my feet, legs and back than standing on our acid stained concrete floor for long periods while cooking. The dogs also love to lay on it and I will learn to adjust my stride to miss the edges. Wipes up beautifully. Another feature is that the infloor heating does not heat the mat up so much that the mat sticks to the floor as other carpet pieces have done which have ruinedthe floor finish. We are very pleased with that feature because it was a worry after our experience with certain rubber backed carpet runners. I wish the mat was available wider in the longer length.

Good value - great material.
I felt instant relief stepping on to it. I put it in my kitchen along the sink and main counter. It covers a decent amount of floor. It's going to save me from a lot of pain with having a tiled kitchen. Good value for the price. Dense material that is really supportive.

Excellent quality.
Liked the quality, comfortable. Using it for painting (artist). Standing for hours at a time and legs do not get as tired.

Comfy mat
The longer runner is perfect, pricey compared to other brands, but it is comfy and easy to wipe down.

This is what I was looking for
I was not sure if I want to but this product or just buy regular carpet. I finally decided to buy it and I am glad that I did. The product looks fantastic and very high quality. It's also very to clean and maintain. I recommend it for everyone
