Q: Do you wet griddle before using cleaning brick?

I've never had to use the cleaning brick. If I had a spot that didn't wipe clean, I poured a little water in it while still warm and scraped gently with scraper. Then used a Blackstone scouring pad gently if spot was still there. Wiped down with wet paper towel.

Q: Can you use the orange cleaning pads on porcelain grates?

Of couse! The orange scouring pads is soft. You can use pumice stone to remove baked-on residue and sturdy stain firstly. Then wet the orange pad combined with soap and water. Then use it to clean the flat top. This will not harm your grill, and at the same time the cleaning intensity is enough for porcelain grates.

Q: Can I safely use blackstone scouring pads on porcelain grates?

Yes. But it is not recommended to use a metal spatula. Please use a pumice stone and scouring pads to clean it. Cleaning intensity is enough for porcelain grates.

Q: Are the cleaning pads reusable ?

Yes, depending on how dirty your grill is. We wipe as much of the loose stuff off and then use the pads. I wash them in soapy(Dawn) water. Have used 4-5 times..
