ASL Flash Cards - 180 Cards

These are great cards. I used them for my 15 year old daughter. She learned many signs in just a few minutes. Great quality.

A great set of sign language flashcards. Have loved using these in my classroom with one of my deaf students.

My 3 year old grandson is non verbal and was getting more and more frustrated by our inability to understand his needs. He actually started hitting when he needed something because he just didn’t know how to show us. Imagine our delight when his face broke out in the biggest smile when we understood his sign for “help” and we handed him a toy that was out of reach. And his big sisters have just as much fun learning the different signs along with him. Easy to read with colorful pictures on one side for baby brother to see, and simple instructions on the correct way to hold your hand(s), fingers or perform any motions on the back. And we all love the ‘Memory Tips’ blurbs like “imagine smearing red lipstick from your lips to your chin” to help remember the finger and hand motion for red. These are fantastic for early learners and perfect for the whole family. Don’t hesitate to get them!

Got these to help my 7 year old learn sign language. We are loving them! Well made cards. Easy to understand what the pictures are showing you to do. On the other side the discretion explaining position and motion of hands is awesome and there are added tips to help remember. These are very easy to learn with! I love the words they choose for this starter pack! Numbers 1-10, ABC'S and everyday words that you would use months, days of week, family, and most of all I was please that emergency words like ambulance, police, hurt, danger were included. I would highly recommend these and I will be checking for more products by them.

I wanted to learn ASL, but felt so overwhelmed with where to begin & didn’t want to stunt my desire to learn with anything too wordy. These cards are colorful & glossy & although the boxes seem to fall apart somewhat easily (like maybe the glue doesn’t hold up?), the cards themselves seem well made. The cards cover alphabet, 0-10, months, days of the week, weather, clothing, emergency, what/where/who/when/why, colors, animals, family members, seasons, some adjectives, & maybe more (can’t remember off the top of my head). They have made starting to learn feel manageable & enjoyable & each card has a description of the hand motion as well as occasional tips to help you remember (like x looks like a pirate hook aka x marks the spot). I am almost through them & feeling much more comfortable & confident to dive in & learn more! Thanks for these! (I did receive one duplicate, but have the right number of cards, so I must be missing a card.)
