Had it installed by Harley Dealer and it works. Sounds loud and clear but unfortunately it keeps on pausing or stopping play when i kick throttle down!! then i have to keep on pressing play again to work

Installed and works perfectly on my wife's Indian Scout! Installs easily between the handlebars and the windshield, if any. Indian includes a spare wire from the ignition. Whatever connector that is fits with the connector provided by Kuryakyn. No manual splicing needed, at least on an Indian bike (and probably most newer bikes). This way, it's wired into the ignition so the speaker turns off when the bike turns off. The speaker system includes a USB port for charging your phone or whatever you want to use it for. The sound quality is great to me. I don't know a lot about sound, I'm not a musician, I've never installed aftermarket speakers in a car or truck, I don't generally jack with equalizers (because stock is fine). I'm not a sound fanatic. To me, the sound quality is better than a lot of motorcycles with fixed fairings that have speakers. Does this sound ok? Yeah, sounds great and rich to me. We play streaming music and mp3 music, both from a phone. I connected the phone to the speaker over Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connects easy. When I mute my radio on my motorcycle, I can hear my wife's Road Thunder music from her bike, probably 6-8 feet away. It's plenty loud and we've never had it anywhere near max volume. No complaints. Solid purchase. Sound snobs might find something to whine about, as you can see in other reviews, but I honestly don't understand what they are talking about.

Sound bar has some awesome noise, even at speed. Definitely loud, even with a helmet. Doesn't sound 100% crisp and clear on all ends, but should be expected for a single bar system in the open air. I was going to give 4 stars because installation was more difficult than I expected but I'm not going to penalize because I'm not the most mechanically versed. The battery terminals are easy, the ingotion gave me some issues. I ended up soldering it into my ignition wire and it's been working fine so far. I would say if you're not ready/willing to dive through your wiring diagram and open up your bike a bit then this one probably isn't for you. But if you're down to try then this is an excellent project and learning experience. And on the other side is a sweet addition to your bike Bike was a 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750

This sound bar was mounted in the middle of my bars (vstar 1100) and fit perfectly with the windscreen. Easy to reach controls while riding, usb for stick or to charge phone. Bluetooth from phone is flawless. Sometimes has issue reconnecting after a stop (like pullover for gas) but is almost always the phone's dissconnect, not the soundbar. Sound quality is highly dependent on your source material. Songs of lesser quality will not be as loud as you might need with pipes, but with a quality music source it rocks! It is loud enought to hear over pipes. Clear and crisp.
