I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in my late twenties and have had chronic constipation my entire life. Sometimes i would go as much as a week without a bowel movement and as ive told many a doctor: Yes! I eat healthy, consume plenty of fiber, and drink a good bit of water. I slowly suffered from life altering fatigue, unexplained weight gain in the stomach area (even after having two kids and losing the baby weight, the amount of weight gain was as if i was pregnant all over again without the added joys of motherhood!), severe bloating, heavy periods, and nerve pain that eventually forced me to quit my job and be a stay at home mom. Im only 33 years old and yet that does not sound like someone in their early 30s! I couldnt get through the day without at least two naps and when i did try to be active in the least bit, i would have to take two days to recover from the burning inflammation. None of the doctors have ever successfully given me a reason for why it is happening. So i did my research and figured it out my damn self! I started taking this along with alpha lipoic acid, turmeric, a highly absorbable vitamin e, and chelated magnesium. I cut out a lot of the high carb foods in my diet that my doctor assured me was necessary to increase my energy stores, and started eating good fats instead. I also added some adaptogens in the mix (such as cordyseps, chaga, holy basil, etc..) for stress relief, and cortisol reduction and I have never felt better! My nerve and muscle pain have decreased exponentially, i am actually having bowel movements almost every day for the first time in my life, I have cut my naps in half ( I'm still a mother of two, what can i say ;> ) and slowly but surely i am beginning to look and feel more like my old self again! I know that these are a vital part of that process because when i run out, i become tired, and sore all over again. So, if anyone out there is sick and tired (literally) of going to the doctors and getting no answers for these problems like i did, take a leap and start taking control of your own life! I ordered this a few months ago and have been taking these pills on and off for the past few months. Sometimes I don't really notice much of a difference, but sometimes I've noticed that these pills have been increasing my alertness. For example, I'm normally very tired during the day and get sleepy often, but after taking one or two of these pills in the morning, I'm less likely to be able to nap even if I'm tired. So I definitely recommend taking this in the morning rather than the afternoon because I've noticed it keeps me up late otherwise. I don't think I've noticed much of an effect in regards to my focus or concentration either. However, I'm giving this 4 stars because it has been somewhat working for my sibling who is also a student who struggles with concentration and feeling tired during the day. He thinks it has been helping him focus a little better. Overall, I think this product might work for some people and will result in a slight improvement in focus/energy at least for someone who doesn't take supplements or medications at all or someone who is lacking a lot of nutrients in their diet, but this product might have minimal or no impact on someone who already takes other supplements/medications for energy/focus. These pills are also relatively easy to swallow, and I haven't really noticed any negative side effects from it, asides from keeping me awake if I take it too late in the day.
