Interesting concept and format.
A plot that keeps the reader on their toes. Alternating chapters written from different characters' points of view - that works quite well. I prefer SF to spy fiction but this combines the two most satisfactorily.

Engaging and fun, I'll be reading more of these
Engaging and fun, I'll be reading more of these. It had the charm of many sci fi novels from the 70's-touch of gritty grey spy intrigue, a simple idea that could change the world. Entertaining,

Gripping from start to finish
I love Joe Haldeman having only discovered him in the last couple of years; this book is excellent and I was only sorry that I read it so quickly because I wanted more.

A minor epic. Not bad.

Brilliant!
This is one of my favourite books of all time, once I start reading it I can't put it down. The hero is a 'sleeper', a Russion spy put in America to do low grade stuff, but who invents something very useful indeed and suddenly everyone wants him/it. And then the action starts.
