The tin is so small you need two, one is not enough for four Caliper with two coats of paint. After painting my Calipers 3 coats each. I can do another car so yes the paint is enough. The more coats the more gloss

This is my experience with this product. Note I have NOT received any compensation for this - review is based on my own experience. First of all, doing this was way out of my comfort zone. I have never jacked this car up before, and to be honest I was looking to get a body shop to do this but no one returned my calls. Most of the work will be in the prep. Applying the paint takes the least amount of time in the process. I have a 2005 350z convertible. First thing I did was to YouTube how to jack it up properly. Lots of jacking failures out there. Because my car is naturally low to the ground I got a set of low profile car ramps so I could get the jack under it. Once the wheels were off I scraped the calipers with a wire brush I got at the dollar store. Used brake cleaner to help with the process. Spend the most on this part! I bought a pack of chip brushes (1/2 inch) and disposed of each one after each layer. First layer of paint I used a light coat. The directions say to wait 3 hours but I found the paint was dry in about 1 1/2 hours. Note I am in Canada and it was about 25 degrees Celsius and breezy that day. For the 2nd coat I did a medium coat. The paint is thick and it will self level. For the front I decided to put on a 3rd coat. Only reason was I missed a couple of spots. With the back calipers I only used 2 coats. End result was spectacular. The pictures don’t do it justice. The colour really pops and it looks professional. Really looks like it has that ceramic look to it. Oh…and I might have used 20% of the can - if that - on all 4 calipers. So while the can is small it goes a long way. Even when your car is 18 years old.

I was skeptical as well, thought I'd need more than a single can, boy was I wrong. I did all four calipers and had lots left over. (Picture is on the third brake caliper and I had lots still in the can). Might do my wife's car next. :-) 1. Soap and water. 2. Degreaser (I used an oven cleaner). 3. Brake cleaner, chlorinated or not, makes no difference. 4. Let dry. 5. Tape off as needed with full blown real masking tape, painter's tape is too weak. 6. Use small art painting brushes, like 1/4 inch wide as max, really tiny brushes, take your time. 7. I did one coat, and it still looks awesome. I can always do a second coat if needed, just wash them, dry and put on second coat. 8. Any towels, brushes, etc. will be a one time use, unless you want to clean them up with mineral spirits. PRO: 1. Plenty of paint. 2. Quality paint, nice and thick. 3. Bright yellow, stays mostly bright yellow, I like it. 4. Price point vs. buying expensive calipers. CON: 1. None really, maybe a little cheaper in price? OTHER: 1. Prep-work makes all the difference, don't skip the cleaning, and prepping. 2. BUY if you want some stand out brakes, and quality paint. 3. DON'T BUY if you are not willing to do the prep, takes about 3-4 hours to do it right. 4. Safety first, and use quality car jack, lift and jack stands. Good luck!
